Audience: The audience for my paper could either be parents or the school boards or both. I am writing about public school funding and I would want to try and convince the parents and the schools to change the way public schools are funded. The way they are funded is very unequal. The students that live in the inner cities have poor schools to go to because they are not funded well enough. The property tax that is used on the schools for funding should be divided out equally among the state in the public schools. Parents of wealthy neighborhoods would need to know that this would not harm their schools in any way. The state would just be giving the poorer schools some more funding to keep it up, to provide a good education for everyone. I would have to try and convince wealthy parents and schools that their children’s education would not be harmed if they helped to fund some other poorer schools as well.
